MUOS Deployment Risk Assessment - The Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) is scheduled to replace the aging UHF Follow-On System (UFO) for narrowband satellite communications. As demand for bandwidth increases across the military spectrum of operations, the need for reliable and secure access to SATCOM resources will increase proportionally and MUOS must be ready to fill the performance gap. This paper aims to identify, assess and address the ongoing MUOS deployment to provide an overall risk analysis for United States Air Force platforms.
